Paul Haley
2013 marks Paul's 27th year working in the City of London. During this time he has worked for HSBC and the Cooperative Bank, Standard Life and three smaller financial advisers. In 2008, Paul established Cormorant Partnership, with the objective of acting as the main trusted advisor for clients and their family. This requires having a broad knowledge and considerable experience of the financial markets. When expertise beyond his own experience is required, Paul has a wide range of contacts in specialist fields to call upon.

Paul firmly believes that good communication is the secret of a successful relationship.

Niall Wijetunge
Niall has worked in financial services since 1997 having read Geography at University College, London. In addition to his broad experience of markets as an Associate at James Capel & Co. (now part of HSBC), he has advanced qualifications in pension, taxation and trust planning. This enables him to act as a single point of contact for clients' financial needs.

As a strong advocate of public financial education, Niall has spoken on the BBC and gives his time to deliver presentations to employees at their workplace on behalf of an education body established by the FSA.

Niall is a member of the CFA society of the UK, the Institute of Financial Planning and the Chartered Insurance Institute. He holds the Investment Management Certificate, the Diploma in Financial Planning and the Certified Financial Planner license.

David Ferguson
David has more than 20 years experience in capital markets. From 1988 to 1993 David spent five years with Citibank in London as a quantitative analyst and portfolio manager. From 1993 to 2002 he was based in Bermuda where he was a portfolio manager and principal in the money management industry. From 2003 to 2009 he was a portfolio manager for institutional investment advisors in London, Montreal and New York.

Since 2009 David has managed family money and he now provides investment advice to high net worth clients and their families.

David graduated with a degree in Mathematics from the University of London. He holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Bernard Brennan
Bernard has 35 years experience of arranging mortgages. After gaining useful knowledge as a senior manager with a major Building Society, he moved into mortgage broking in the City some years ago, and recently joined Cormorant as our mortgage specialist.

Apart from the full spectrum of mortgage advice, Bernard has also developed specialist capability in providing funding for Lloyd's Names and Expatriates.

Cormorant can now offer an independent mortgage advice service, based on Bernard's comprehensive experience and the availability of a specialist research system.
